Bio: Hi! I’m Elisha and I live just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota with my husband, three kids (18, 15 & 13). I’m originally from Utah where I grew up and ran track at the University of Utah. I was a sprinter specializing in the 100m and 400m hurdles! After college, I didn’t do much running but I love to compete so the drive and challenge of triathlon intrigued me when we moved from Utah to Arizona in 2010. I started doing sprint triathlons, running more and figuring out how to bike & swim. I’ve always known how to swim but never swam open water or competitively. Such a challenge! We moved from Tucson, Arizona in 2013 to Maple Grove, MN. I’ll never forget looking for a house in the middle of winter in Minnesota! Unbelievable!! Well, eight years later and we’re still here - I have a love/hate with the weather! When we moved to Minnesota, I started with more open water sprint triathlons and then moved into 70.3 triathlons...I was hooked on long-distance events! The challenge to push myself to accomplish something like 70.3 miles and 140.6 miles was addicting! I loved it! My Ironman addiction started in Madison, WI and has continued from there. I’ve finished 8 full Iroman’s and I LOVE all the stories & experiences from each one! So here I am today, excited to connect with this team and looking forward to 2022!!
