Bio: Swimming was always my sport growing up, participating since age 9 as an age group swimmer and competing in high school at the state level. My first triathlon was back in 1994 in Minneapolis. I had a blast and the rest is history! I started running marathons for fun goals and completed the San Diego Marathon, LA Marathon and lots of half marathons. I got back into triathlon with shorter distances races and did my first Ironman race in 2010 at Florida 70.3. My first full Ironman was Boulder in 2015 and completed Ironman Arizona 2019. I'm excited to train with Iracelikeagirl teammates in Colorado and around the country and to continue to learn from our fearless leader! Anyone can do this sport if you have the desire and although I'm a back of pack racer, I always remind myself that I am beating everyone sitting at home on the couch!
