PR Performance9th place in the Summer Solstice Kindler while in a walking boot after Achilles Heel surgical repair.
Goal Race Always to finish and encourage others along the way.
Bio: I started riding a bike I purchased at a Lincoln pawn shop in 2018 to ride with a group of friends from Old Chicago who would ride from one brewery in Lincoln, NE to the next. We then started riding in a local event called Tour de Brew, a charity ride that involved bikes and beer. My husband and I joined up with a group of riders called the Pub Peddlers that meet every Wednesday and ride a route and finish with a meal at a local eating establishement. Members of this group encouraged us to try this thing called gravel bike rides pretty soon we are signing up for events like Summer Solstice and Gravel Worlds. I still enjoy riding Rails to Trails paths and have ridden several in Nebraska and other states. The goal is to ride in each of the fifty states of the USA. I have a few done including Canada, Washington, California, Colorado, South Dakota, Kansas, Missouri, West Virginia, Virginia, but there's still a lot of trails and gravel still out there to be discovered.
